Support for Tree CLI

Getting Help

If you’re experiencing issues with Tree CLI or have questions about its usage:

1. Check the README: Many common questions are answered in our README

2. Review Issues: Search existing issues to see if your question has already been addressed

3. Open a New Issue: If your question isn’t answered, create a new issue with:

   • Your operating system
   • Tree CLI version
   • Command you’re trying to run
   • Expected vs. actual results

Feature Requests

Have ideas for improving Tree CLI? We welcome feature suggestions:

1. Open an issue describing your proposed feature
2. Explain the use case and benefits
3. If you’re able to implement it yourself, consider opening a pull request

Bug Reports

When reporting bugs, please include:

• Steps to reproduce the issue
• Expected behavior
• Actual behavior
• Any error messages
• Your environment (OS, terminal)

For antivirus reports, include the Tree version, operating system, affected file’s SHA-256, antivirus product and detection name, and a VirusTotal report link when available.
